I agree, the performance of England last night was not really enteraining or mind blowing, but we got the 3 points and that is all that counts.

People have to bear in mind though, that sometimes it's harder to go away to Maceondonia than play away against Germany or someone like that, because with Maceondonia, you don't really know the calibre of the playing staff, who who and what they can do, the atmosphere of the crowd, the state of the pitch.

Where as least with someone like Germany, you know what to expect, you know all the dangers, all the players and what they can do, the crowd will not always be a problem because you know what to expect.

I thought that England defended very well last night, John Terry was absouatly brilliant, captain marvel, blocking, chasing, charging, organising, going forward, typical Terry, i thought Ashley Cole looked a bit dodgy, the midfield ws solid enough, no one in there really impressed, Lampard was completly lost though, Gerrard could have played better, Downing was ****, as usual.

Defoe played out of his skin, chasing back, little flick ons, and Crouch was ok, took his goal well.

I thought the referee was shocking.

To be honest i could not supply a monkeys about this sport.pleasant video games do not precisely get the middle pumping with exhilaration, and they're going to probably manage it like a Sunday afternoon kick around the park so I surely received't hassle gazing.

England were pretty awful but won, and that's all that counts.

I'd like to see Lampard dropped, Gerrard move into the centre and Lennon play on the right.

Btu McClaren seems to have no intention of dropping Fat Frankie.

Awful, awful performance but did you notice that Scotland top their group? Just shows the cream eventually rises to the top

It was a disgrace, just like their world cup performance. During the world cup they were probably shag*ing their wives and girlfriends too much

It was pretty bad. Everyone is catching Lampard's Disease. We need to start playing classy football again.

Jose' Mourinho needs to manage that team bad.

Apparently no one else can do it.

Did we win then? Probably but with a bloody awful performance. MacLarens honeymoon was a short one.
