I do. Well, I am a Brazilian. Actually Carmen was not born in Brazil, but in Portugal. I don't know much about her. I was very small when she died at a very young age, I think she was in her forties. She made a career in the USA, but I don't think Americans usually remember about her.
I have visited your page but I am afraid there is not much to be seen yet. So I'd rather not say what I think about it for the time being.

Yes, I remember Carmen Miranda. She was cool. Most on this board are too young to know who she is. She was before my time as well. She's before 1960, I believe.

she was married to Xavier Cugat, a bandleader who always had a miniature chihuaha in one hand and a wand in the other one..Carmen had a dynamite body, slightly oversize lips and wore a headdress loaded with fruit....
