Hmmm...Interesting!! In all of my 32 yrs. I did not know that there was winter and summer sausage. Is there Spring and Fall sausage as well??

summer sausage is a process of how it`s made, because people used to make sausage in the fall when they butchered the hogs and the sausage would not be cured till summer;; hence summer sausage.........you can eat it any time
