I am confused of who will take the throne. The boy or the girl because everyone is saying the girl but some people are saying the boy should take the throne. Who do you think should take the throne? I think the girl should take the throne when she is of age.

The boy, under Japanese mandate, only males can inherit the throne. The issue was, if the princess had a girl, there wouldn't have been a new male heir to the throne, and the laws/traditions would have to have been changed.

No, I'd rather keep the tradition. The Japanese are very tradition-minded, and it is best to hold on to even the last evstages of a bygone age. This is something worth keeping.
