because i was wondering if my friend was because shes been acting real strange now and the other day i saw cuts on her right arm

Cutters also have hair pullen out, they cut various parts of their feet (at the bottom) and they tear clothes that they wear without a reason, too.
It is a telling psychois too, easy to detect and easy to spot.
Usually it arises from a learning disability of some kind, and the frustation that they feel towards others when they don't get their own way all the time.

If u saw the cuts then she is a cutter...!People who cut themselves do it repeatedly...don't try to act like u care about her and cut yourself as well...try to support her...maybe she has problems that u don't know about!Remember she may have stupid problems but u must stand by her....tell a parent and help her get through this!if u see that u can't handle a situation like this don't try to get involved!

does she suffer from any mental illness, or do you think she does, a cutter usually has some kind of mental illness like bipolar, clinical depression etc. If you notice her hiding her arms etc and spending more time alone in her room, always apologising for things she does not need to etc. Tell her that you are worried about her, be observant, she won't tell you if she is doing it, she will more than likely feel ashamed of herself for it. Have you thought of telling her parents (if she's young) or someone else in a position to help her?

A cutter is usually a person with suicidal tendencies. You can tell if they have had issues in their lives(bad breakup, death of somoeone close, abuse, tramatic events,etc.)
