it seems in 2,000 the bands are going support country instead of going against war and this country's goverment

Rage Against the Machine is the closest you'll get, but they are communist rather than anarchist..

Anarchist bands??? ha. what a joke. the true anarchist bands never got big.

All of those bands who bash Bush or hate the war aren't really anarchist to begin with....

Such as: Green Day or the Dixie Chicks. Both were very vocal about being anti-war and all that, but you don't hear them talk any more because they know that the masses don't care about their political views, except for those Rush Limbaugh types on the news who say "Look at those idiots, defaming our president and all that we stand for!"

Mainstream music cannot be anarchist. It would be biting the hand that feeds you in today's media led world.

You can support the country and be anti-war.

I did notice a huge decline in bands/musical groups public protests against the war after what happened to the Dixie Chics though.
