Rubber is made from latex from the bark of the rubber tree. There is also a synthetic rubber that is an oil product, but we don't use that in daily life at home. This is manufactured for industrial purposes.

hydrocarbon polymer which occurs as a milky emulsion (known as latex) in the sap of several varieties of plants. Rubber can also be produced synthetically.
Synthetic rubber is made through the polymerisation of a variety of monomers to produce polymers. These form part of a broad study covered by Polymer science and Rubber technology.

Natural rubber comes from the sap of rubber trees.
Synthetic rubber is cheaper but natural rubber is still used for radial tires and the tires on airplane landing gear because it's much stronger.

It was made from Rubber trees but now it's synthetic as rubber trees are hard to grow and very expensive to harvest.
