It's because media companies are not democratically run and are owned and controlled by capitalists, who have no intention of informing people what anarchism stands for, so you get ignorant statements about anarchists like the one from Jay S.

To Jay S: there's a difference between the lack of order and what the supporters of anarchism want. Anarchists believe in decentralized democracy - that is, if the minority doesn't like the decisions of the majority, then are free to establish their own democratic, sovereign organization.

For anarcho-syndicalists, there would be every reason to produce goods, because they decide democratically how to divide up the revenue of the company. There would be no dictatorship of big shareholder deciding he should be paid thousands of times more than everyone else, without even having to do any real work.

Because organizing anything is antipathy to a true anarchist!

No one with any real understanding of anarchy would ever support it. It means NO government, NO police, and NO courts. In other words, zero protection and zero justice.

It means anyone stranger than you can steal everything you own, or rape you, or kill you. No one will grow food any more and no one will make things any more, because what's the point, when the product of your labor is going to be stolen? Soon there would not be enough food, and MOST people would starve to death. That's if they haven't frozen to death in the winter, or died of some disease, because there's no more medicine, or Doctors, or hospitals.

Possibly because anarchy has never worked, and never will.
