It's funny; just this morning I was having a conversation with a guy I work with about the old classic Black-and-White Universal horror movies (Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolfman, etc.) I grew up watching all of those films, and I still think they're unbeatable for atmosphere, performances, and stories.
Among contemporary horror films, my favorite would have to be the original "Dawn of the Dead" (1978)

Drac is back!
This time he has found a way to evade his persuers as the leader of an outlaw biker gang...with plenty of hot vampire girls for comapnions!
It's called Vampire Biker Babes! Cheesy title...great film! It's from Cyberstreme productions, rated "R" and due out on DVD next month in time for Hallowe'en in case you missed it in the theaters!

It's a real old movie -- I forget where or when I saw -- when I was a kid. It was a B/W movie "The Haunting" (didn't see the recent remake from a few years ago). Really creepy -- you never saw any creature or ghost, which to me actually made it scarier.

Love the Zuni fetish in Trilogy of Terror that attacked Karen Black. The ghost of a Zuni warrior was trapped in a carved doll and came to life...very cool!

I really love the Underworld movies. The second one, Evolution, was really great. And they have the best of both worlds, werewolves, and vampires
