I hope they come home safe myself. I have a son there that puts his life on the line everyday so that people like you can continue to call the President of the United States a "scumbag".

It is possible to disagree with policies and ideas without the disrespect you show the leader of this country. My son has been through two administrations and although he did not agree with the policies of Clinton, he would have never disrespected him in any way. I find it confusing that there are people like you that use names like "scumbag, Hitler, Nazi, etc", to describe Bush, but couldn't see past their Liberal agendas to say anything about a President that not only cheated on his wife in the Oval office, he LIED to a grand jury and started his own war in Bosnia (we're still there). Not to mention Whitewater, Jennifer Flowers, Fosters mysterious death and others.

So I pray every day that my son and all the other sons and daughters come home safe. It would tear my heart out to think he died for you and those like you. Bush as with every other president is attempting to do the best possible for America. And just as those before him, is doing what he thinks is best. They have ALL made mistakes, that is because they are human. Even Kennedy had his follies, can you say Bay of Pigs, Cuba?

As a veteran, I appreciate your support for the troops, just remember that the person you called a scumbag is one of the troops, too. Also, as a veteran, I willingly put my life on the line for people far worse than your personal conception of the President of the US. You can't selectively serve the country. Either you do it, and become a greater person for it, or you don't and still potentially become a greater person for it.

you can support the troops without agreeing with the mission. as a veteran, i know that they signed up to defend democracy not participate in it. they are only following orders, but WE can change the policy here to get them out of there.

If your boyfriend didn't go to Iraq I would still have the right to say bush is a complete waste of the crap used to fill his head. That's free speech protected by the constitution. Saddam was not going to change the constitution, sorry. If you want to protect our rights do something about the patriot act.

I want them to come home too.

I also want them defending me over there.

I do not want them defending me here.

As a former soldier, your kind of talk makes me sick. These guys and gals are over there following orders and killing the bad guys so they don't kill any more of us. They don't want to hear you bad mouthing the Commander and Chief or destroying their moral by talking bad about our country or our commitments to security or even to what they are doing in Iraq (or wherever else they may be).

Do not insult the armed forces, let them do what they want and finish the job. Bringing them home any earlier would make the sacrifices by them wasted!

Shut up dummy is right, you fight for freedom, not your President. Obviously youre an idiot, even if you didnt vote for him President Bush is still your President whether you like it or not, he deserves respect for that.
