I have a boat that is registered with the US coast Guard. I am wanting to go with a conventional State registration, but was told that I need a release forum from the US coast Guard before I can do that. Does anyone no where I can get the forum at? Thank you for any help.

it's called "documentation', not registration when applied to the Coast Guard; the office is in Falling Waters, WV ( I'm not kidding) and you can get to the section on the Coast Guard's home page by going to www.uscg.mil

you need a form, not forum to start with... contact the coast guard, unless you stole the boat....
