Surfing the usual site I surf but keep coming across the word death and it is really freaking me out, because the sites aren't associated with that am I just blowing it out of proportion or is this a sign?

No. It is not a sign. Your fears are making you more sensitive to the word.

When people buy a certain model of car they then see it everywhere on the road as they travel. Same idea.

You may have a Trojan or Internet hijacker program that redirects your search to certain sites. Try using an anti-spy ware program to see if you have spy ware on your system. I use EWIDO-anti spay remover, it works great.
