I was going to say it but someone else beat me to it. It would be impossiable to pick up EVERY station as they are repeated. If you live in an area where you can pick up alot from other areas you will note the static(not too bad but you get it) as the stations get further away. Also you will hear them cut out to other stations or other interference. Short of that if you wanted alot you'd need a hill or high place, as you want to get up as best you can, and an antenna. The higher up and less interfernce around the more likely you are to pick up more stations.

Every radio station? You'd need an antenna that circles the planet. The reason is, Higher frequencies don't bend with the atmosphere. The higher the frequency, the less they bend. Some frequencies are strictly line-of-sight.

Jay S is correct. You'd need thousands of antennas to pick up all the VHF and UHF stations. As he says, they're line-of-sight, so some only have a range ofa few hundreds of metres. If you wanted to pick up every short wave station you'd need a hell of a sensitive receiver, and even then reception would depend on ionospheric conditions.

First of all, they repeat alot of frequencies so all you would hear is a mess of static.
