I was in my room getting ready for bed. I laid down and at the time my dresser mirror was at the foot of my bed. I look at the mirror and saw a man walk across the mirror. It scared the crap out of me. That was the first time I encountered anything paranormal. I put my head under my blanket like a little kid and did not come out until morning.

Another time I was in bed and had insomnia. I laid in bed staring out my doorway. I saw a little boy stick his head out from behind the door in my daughters room. she was a baby at the time so I knew it wasn't her. Couple minutes after I heard someone walking in my living room which was right by my bedroom. I got up and went into the living room nothing. As I sat on the couch I heard footsteps again but this time in the attic right above my head. I heard footsteps in that house almost everynight. And I saw the little boy a couple more times after that.

We were getting ready to move into a house a couple of years ago. One afternoon my 2 year old son & I were there alone, he was playing with cars while I worked in the kitchen. The basement stairs were on one side of the kitchen & you could look over a legde & see the full view of the stairs.
I heard someone coming up the stairs loudly, my heart pounded becasue my first thought was that someone was in the house with us. I watched the top of the stairs fully expecting to see someone there, but no one was there. At one point I went & looked over the ledge & was surprised when no one was there the sound was so obvious!
This happened several times in a few hours. I heard a ball bouncing on the stairs, as well as the foot steps. Finally I said out loud "look, you need to stop this. This is our house now & you are not welcome if you continue this." Oddly enough, it stopped.
Durring the time that we lived there we often heard footsteps & the TV would randomly change challells or turn on or off. It was more of an annoyance than scary after a while.

I used to do mobile security overnight (so you know it's bad). There's an arts theatre in Toronto that's haunted with numerous reports of it by a few other guys and lucky me has to do that patrol twice a night. The men's washroom in the lobby is the worst. We'd hear someone breathing or growling whenever we're in there doing our thing.

One night, I was walking in the lobby when I heard a sound. I thought it was bar fridge turning on to keep itself cool, but it was behind me to my left; the noise was coming from behind me to my right. And it also didn't sound like a fridge turning on, it sounded like water running for a few seconds and then stopped. I looked over and lo and behold, it was the men's washroom with the door open (that's not the scary part, since it's always open for the cleaners). I thought that maybe it was the automatic faucets in the washroom, but the building isn't that new nor do they have the money for that. I look inside, and it was a faucet that you have to turn on by yourself. That was when I heard that breathing again, and got the hell out of there.

We live on the 3rd floor of an old apartment building. The landlord lives on the 1st and he is from Africa, NO one lived on the 3rd floor at the time...as we were returning from eating out one night, while walking up the stairs I saw a white figure run UP the stairs..thinking this was my oldest son..because the "person" was taller than my pre schooler and toddler..but my son then came up from BEHIND me..I darted up the stairs and found the temperature had dropped about 20 degrees and you could see your breath...it was July!! I then came down the stairs..told my husband and oldest son, 14 yrs old..that someone was UPSTAIRS...they went up...baseball bats in hand...BUT doors were locked tightly, lights were turned off, and there was NO other way out but back down the stairs that we were standing on...this shadow figure has been seen opening the front door and closing it in someone's face..."he" darts up the back hall way as well...we call him Martin. BUT my worst happened when I was younger....I'm a clairvoyant/medium and this happens all the time.

I was working the night shift at a Super 8 Motel here in Kentucky when I noticed the lights flickering on the second floor on the security camera. I didn't think nothing of it, then I heard footsteps over top of my head. I looked up on the monitor again and saw a little girl dressed in a long white gown. She was staring at the camera. It was like she was looking right at me. I was curious, so I got on the elevator and went up there. When I was on the second floor, it was unusually cold. I could even see my breath! Needless to say, I don't go up there very often anymore.

ok I am pretty un-para-normal (no out-of-body experiences, etc.) but once this weird thing happened. It was a sunday and i was sleeping really late and I woke up like you do when you sleep late, like in gradual stages, and then when your eyes are open your legs are still kind of frozen in sleep. Anyways, it was in this relaxed sort of time. I had been having a dream about taking a test, and I woke up right when i was about to start the test and had the pencil in my hand, and then I woke up and I could move my hand, and I held the pointer and thumb of my right hand apart like i was holding the pencil right there, and I could feel something there! It was the weirdest thing ever. it was like I was holding this thing, and i could see it in my mind, it was gray like a toothpick and square but tapered to points on both ends, and i could feel it between my fingers.

aside from that, the most ghostly experience I ever had was watching beetlejuice.

When I was of elementary school age, I was getting ready to go to bed on a regular school night. Getting into bed and laying on my back, I started toying with my favorite brown stuffed teddy bear. I put him to rest on my stomach, but after a few seconds the bear levitated gently all the way to the ceiling, hung there for a couple more seconds, then gently came down again. It was not frightening to me, just fascinating and awkward. To this day I am speculating as to what it could have been.

OK this is weird, and you're probably not going to believe it but its true. About two weeks ago, I was standing next to my bed. I felt something grab my foot but when I looked down there was nothing there. I checked under my bed but there was nothing there either. 10 min later as I walked into my chemistry class I bumped my foot against what I thought was a ledge between the stairs but there was no ledge there. Is it that I experienced something normal? Or do I simply have a brain tumor? You decide.

It wasnt a bad experience ... but when I had my first miscarriage I cried myself to sleep the first night. I had decided to stay with my parents for a couple days .. I wanted my mommy !!! ( lol) In the middle of the night I kind of woke up ... I was not quite awake, not fully asleep.. inbetween ... Anyway this woman was talking to me.. I didnt see her but I could hear and feel her presence. She told me things would be ok and stuff.
I went down for breakfast the next morning with my mum and I told her that I really appreciated her coming up and comforting me last night. She had no idea what I was talking about. She had been asleep in bed all night.
So it must have been my guardian spirit coming to comfort me.
Kinda creepy but at the same time... kind of nice.
