I keep missing it. How is she looking at her new job?

she looks okay - but she seems so timid and like she's reading the teleprompter. I think she is nervous. The $15 million dollar pressure is on.

She jumps too quickly from story to story, and she seems like she's trying to change the evening news format to an Evening Today Show.

Sorry, I am a Brian Williams fan.

Hope you get to see her tomorrow!

Couric did start - on Tuesday sept. 5.
I missed her first show, but listened on webstreaming.
I watched her whole show on Sept. 6.
She does an OK job. A little bit different on the delivery - not the usual TOm Brokaw or Dan Rather-esque monotone delivery we're accustomed to. I think she's a good addition.

I didn't catch her debut yesterday, but watched part of it this evening. Her interview with idiot Bush repulsed me, so I changed channels. It was just another photo opportunity for Bush, and I don't think Couric pushed very hard for decisive, intelligent answers (of course, had she done that, she would have shown America what a dunce Bush really is). Her teaser ads kept promising a "new" approach to news, in-depth investigations, and hard-hitting reporting. I seriously doubt CBS will give her the budget for such stuff; the 'fourth estate' is no longer part of our American society. The media beancounters worry more about their 38% profit margins than they do actual news reporting. -RKO-

Yes, I saw her both yesterday and today. I think she's OK, and I think she'll get better as time goes on. Wardrobe needs some work.

Looks like she wants to change and improve the format of the show. Even though I was a fan of Rather and Schieffer, I would like to see KC do something to make the show different, and we hope more appealing to the audience.

You are not missing much. She spends more time introducing other reporters than doing any reporting. Lucky she managed to get an interview with Bush to start her off or everyone would be watching PBS instead of CBS. They should have spent the money on getting good stories instead of a skirt with a brain.

I heard on the local news she is doing good. Of course, she will be different from the guys but she will be a plus. I liked what I saw.

I don't believe she has actually started yet. I think she starts like September 10 or 13.

How is she going to maintain her perkiness while reading headlines about atrocities around the planet? Quite a challenge.
