First off, if what you were doing before became too much of a problem that you realised you had to stop, WELL DONE!!!

If you're body isn't fit thru the abuse you inflicted start building it, go for a jog and see how your body responds, that will tell you how serious you need to get about your health now. Also the internet as you know is booming and it aint gonna stop, do some e learning courses online and from learn direct and get yourself a job to support any studies you might wanna do. there is loads of call centre work out there and its not hard it pays well between 6-7 pounds an hour. check monster.co.uk. Just mail me if you need a hand on cv or owt mate!!

all the best and WELL DONE again!!!

Stand proud, chest out , chin up!!!!

I recently read about a college called sober college in Ca- I dont know if its good or way expensive but its a concept I think is way overdue. You need to remake your life, to redefine yourself where some of you characteristics remain and others disappear...you could live in a sober living home whilst going to college, attending AA(for any substance) daily and having a drug free alcohol free home to live in. Without support it will be easy to relapse. No matter what you do, try living in a sober living house w/others to support you. There are ways they can help you with finances so you dont get tempted to use money for substances as well. As far as what to study, it depends what you are interested in and also what is available to study at your college of choice-you could start at a community college if you want a non threatening way to ease into it. Take a few classes that are somewhat easy but not un challenging so you can get a feel for it. Go to the college counselor and ask to take a career aptitude test ...Start researching it. MAybe others have some names of places .

There are lots of job opportunities that you can get from a few short courses at your local college. Dental assistant, electrician, refrigeration repair. Or whatever you wouldn't mind doing long term.
You could get your license to drive a truck or other large equipment.
I'm proud that you sobered up and stopped dealing. Its probably the only thing you feel familiar with right now. You just have to get out there and get familiar with something else.

College is always a good choice. Only 25% of highschool graduates receive a college degree - so it really is valuable. My mom went back to college when she was in her early 40s, to get a Master's in education. Without that degree, God knows if she would have an above-minimum wage job right now. Besides, you can sell drugs at any point in your life, but the longer you hold off on going to college, the harder it will be to go and to make money after you graduate.

One degree that's super easy to get is a Bachelor's in elementary education, though in my opinion that's probably got to be one of the least rewarding jobs ever, unless you really love kids of course.

I would suggest business... I bet you are a natural at this, seriously! I think it is never too late for college. Start small with local opportunities and take some time to decide what kind of career you want for sure. I seriously recommend business - go legit! My little bro was in illicit sales too and is now in jail doing some hard time!

Go to a college...all of the subjects now are not more than4 year courses...and u can study something like social work...which is 3 years i think in the UK...and then u can share your experience in schools and try to learn and educate the teens about the consequences of drugs..!!!
Good Luck...!

If you are serious and sober get a job that does not have much pressure. Forget college for right now. Best opportunity that I know is Network Marketing.

You can get full details on a very solid company at:

http://TopFreedoms.com

The company helps people to help themselves to be more successful. Should you want details be sure to fill in all 5 items on the brief form.

It will only be a temptation, and lets get honest an excuse for you to keep it around. So its like having an emergency supply around just in case you need it someday. VEry bad idea.
Get a job, any job AND go back to school take a few classes see what you like. Start hanging out with people who have a life instaed of selling junk to people who dont care about their lives.
Slow and staedy, if you make an effort you will get your life on track.

Now you're sober, stay that way and go to collge. Go for something that you're interested in. Go onto prospects.ac.uk - this gives a summary of most of the careers. You can look on and see what career you're likely to be interested in.

I wish you all the best. It'll be tough to start with but worth it in the end. You don't want to be looking over your shoulders for the rest of your life do you?
