Only pancakes. Why bother to get a waffle machine - pancakes are much easier and you can control the size and the add-ins.

Waffles! There are a little crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and hold up to the syrup well!

Pancakes on the otherhand are good but are sometimes too rich and get mushy fast.

You people are crazed. Pancakes are far superior to the hard, stupid waffle. I hate waffles. I hate to butter them. Unless you have really soft butter and your waffle is screaming hot, the holes in the waffle hold gobs of unmelted butter. Add syrup and what do you have? A soggy mess topped with hard butter. Yuk! And brownie bites from Costco are round and muy delicioso!

You hit the nail on the head when you said waffles are way better than pancakes. But square better than round? Even bacon feels the need to curl up in the pan because it knows rounded edges is where it's at. Why do you think they spent all those years in developing the round waffle maker? Because they wanted to make them better, that's why. Why are plates round? Because square food comes in a TV dinner tray. Have you ever seen a square donut? You know what's square? Goat pupils and Celine Dion's calves and I wouldn't put either one in my mouth.
Sweettarts.
Muffins.
Scoops of ice cream.
Meatballs.
Pay attention man, your slippin'.

Depends. If we're just talking plain pancakes, and plain waffles, then waffles. If we're talking fancy...then pancakes.
