it should be put on the school curriculum - it is an inspiration and something to think about - how one child thought about how to make the world a better place - and took the ultimate sacrifice in order to try and implement it

Yes i do.
I've tried make it a habit ever since to do things secretly for people without letting them know it's me.
I think that's the best way to do things for people anyway.
If they know it's you then they either feel indebted,or they think you have an alterior motive.
This way they don't know and they can only wonder.
Also it goes along with what the Christ teaches us:
"Don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing."
My dream has always been to do what the boy did in the movie: Play matchmaker on somebody (secretly, of course),and then watch as the two people fall in love.Just like he did with his mother and his teacher.
I sincerely hope I get to do that someday. That would be really great!
I really do agree with you that the world would be a better place if people did things for others instead of just re-paying the people who were nice to them.
I did like the movie, though I thought the ending was a little bit too sad.
But the idea is great.
Since you liked that movie so much, you might also enjoy Much Ado About Nothing (which is one of my favorites) with Kenneth Branagh,Denzel Washington, and Emma Thompson (and in which Michael Keaton is great in a cameo role). That movie has a happy ending. And a similar idea.

Watching a good film at least once is always a good idea. The film was excellent, well casted, and portrayed wonderfully. That way of thinking could make lovely things happen, but as to its realistic potential, i find it slim. A great idea, but with poor potential. A super film though.

Yes, it would be a nice little world if that practice were to be put into action, but holy crap. Did you people see the same snore-fest I did? What a load of boredom, and that ending? Nope, didn't see that coming half an hour ago. A more mediocre movie has yet to be achieved.

I went to see it with a friend of mine and he took both of his sons the next weekend to see it. He thought it was an important lesson for them to hear early and to hear it from the movies instead of from him since they were more apt to listen to media than their old dad.

So yes! I think the world would be an amazing place if everyone saw the movie and it stuck with them!

From the sounds of curiously to be the action picture Freaks the re launch of it with Randy Quaid besides the undeniable fact that, except that i'll't imagine of it. a movie with the extraordinary guy from Police Academy might want to might want to be Bob Cat Godlweigh which then has a tendency to make me imagine it would want to were warm To Trot. it is the position i might want to initiate, as one female also stated i might want to make certain out who the extraordinary guy replaced into in Police Academy and seem up his movie bio on imdb, then see if any of them adventure your description. best of success to you wish that helps!

Yes, I do. That was an excellent movie. So sad at the end, but very, very good. Something we should all think about. God Bless!

I've watched that movie when I was in high school but I've already forgotten what it was about. All I remember is that Helen Hunt was in the movie.

Yep, I do agree. Wonderful, feel-good movie, too. Kevin Spacey was incredible in it, as usual.
