Babysitting jobs are usually easy to get -- a lot of parents need someone to pick younger kids up from school and watch them until the evenings. Waiting tables is always good money, but it can be exhausting -- it's what I did when I was a senior and it made me SO tired at night. I recommend a job at a coffee shop or tanning salon, etc. where you can work the 4-8 shift.

Are you 18? Be a food runner at a restaurant. Afternoon shifts usually start around 4pm, and you go home depending on when you get cut. Starting as a food runner is great, because you usually get tip share, and you really get to know the food. Then after a while, you can become a server, where the real $$ is. Restaurants are definately the way to go for highschoolers and college kids. Just choose the right restaurant (i.e. Denny's.. not a great idea, a steak-house, or high traffic restaurant is a great choice)

Depends on what you like to do, how long you can stay out and what your skills are. Make a list of your skills, your likes and dislikes. Make a list of all the places you'd be willing to work at. Call them up and see whether they are hiring, what hours are available, what the pay and benefits are. How far away is the business? How will you get there?

There are probably many jobs you can do. You can work as a clerk in an office. You could be a part-time teller at a bank. You could work at any fast food place. You could work in a retail store or in a supermarket. You could work at the Y or at a local health club. You could work as a golf caddy or a parking valet. How about a waiter or bus boy?

Good luck!
