Bought new Sony Eric. It was only phone in shop apparently that I could fix USB cable to. So didnt really think about network or anything. When I got it home-had no signal, so heard you could get it unlocked and change network. Did that but same thing - bad signal OR theres something wrong with phone. Can I get it unlocked again and go to 3 which I always got a signal on? Could it be something wrong with phone, as when I call people I get nothing BUT sometimes if I put it on speaker it works? Can I still take it back once I've had it unlocked? Please help.

you wont be able to take it back because your warranty is void once you unlock it,u dont need to unlock twice, your phone should take a 3 sim card and it should work,i have been on 3 since it started and have had no issues, but in fairness sounds like the phone is buggered! maybe try takin it back without telling them you have had it unlocked?

I live in an area with bad signal, my old sagem one works there my new samsung one doesn't! so It could be the phone not picking up signal. I think once you've had your phone unlocked it can be used on any network. Does your phone work away from home? If it does I'm guessing its the network, if not its probally the phone, in which case i'd put the sim card they gave you in and forget to mention I'd had it unlocked! but thats just me!
