ATTENTION :_ Teacher man
kangaroo meat is actually used as food in Aus( though not be a great deal of people). It is quite lean.
I can remember having a stew made using the tail of a Kangaroo when I was a child ( am now 52) - & have recently had kangaroo steaks

Kangaroos stand on their hind legs, use their tails for balance, and hop from place to place. They are also marsupials, which mean they have a pouch in which they place their young.
And a newsflash to some of the other answers: Kangaroos are also mammals (they have fur, breath oxygen, give live birth to their young, and have an endoskeleton)
