to do a special thing tomorrow, while you are at work, play or just walking down the street, MAKE SOMEONES DAY, just do a good dead for your neighbour, smile at a stranger, let someone have your seat on the bus, open the door for someone, etc...... i will call it a day to give......will you all try to do it ?????? thankyou in advance xxxx

fossil, I like the way you think. You could call it "Be a Good Samaritan Day."
There is also a concept that we could apply each and every day. This concept is called "The Emotional Bank Account." This is a metaphor that suggests that every interaction with another human being may be classified as a deposit or withdrawal.
Deposits:
Kindness and Courtesy
Keeping Promises
Honoring Expectations
Making Apologies
Withdrawals:
Unkindness and Discourtesy
Breaking Promises
Violating Expectations
Pride, Conceit, Arrogance
We all could try a little harder to make Deposits.
Remember..."You can't talk your way out of problems you behaved yourself into."

* To smile back at the waving adolescent boys as I drive out of my development
* To bring in coffee for my favorite co-worker
* And hmm, to offer a shift coverage for one of my fellow EMT's at the first aid squad.
* One last one: To call my dearest friend & tell him how much I've missed him the last day!

Make someones day? The first thing I'm doing tomorrow is phoning the salaries department and tearing a strip off them for underpaying me by £300! Then I'm phoning the electrician and complaining about the rewire he did in my home! After that I'm off to Asda to get a refund on a faulty c.d. they sold me. Make someones day? I'll make their day all right... I'll make it pure hell! And I'l feel better for it!

i do that already but do u know you put dead as in not alive instead of deed as in something good. Do a good dead im avoiding that one. Sorry i picked on ya. Just im sure no one will want that though.

well from the day i had today there is no way there can be a bad day tomorrow for all involved. I just hope i can make someone smile. or send them on thier way knowing they have what they need!! thanks for the two points!!

i do this everyday not just on certain days. if everyone practiced this our world would be a happier place. good for you but try to do this everyday. it is quite rewarding to know that you have made someones day by simply treating them as you would like to be treated.
