no. he also tells me we are going to get married, but keeps pushing the date back. then, he goes and writes these amazing wedding vows for our friends wedding, and refuses to acknowledge that we are engaged. he's sort of an ass like that.

If I had a lady, I would surprise her with random stuff. Yes, I'd do flowers and candy sometimes.

But at other times to keep it interesting, I'd get random stuff too. If she says she likes fruit, I'd get her a big watermelon. "Here, THIS is for you!"

If she wanted breakfast in bed, I'd leave some frozen waffles by her pillow. Of course I'd have a hot country breakfast waiting for her in the hallway.

If she wanted a new computer, I'd go get her an Etch-A-Sketch. "If it freezes you have to shake it a little!" Yea I know, I'm a little crazy but that's okay =)

Yes. All the time. Several years ago he bought me a beautiful vase for my birthday. Now he gets flowers at Walmart or the grocery store so they are less expensive and he can afford to give them more often. I put them in the vase and we enjoy them for days. As a matter of fact, he brought home roses just last Saturday.

No and to be honest, it really hurts my feelings. I feel like he never thinks of me or cares, etc. He used to get them when we were first dating, but... no more. Been together 3 years. The last time I got flowers or any kind of cute little suprise was 2 years ago.

My husband does so just frequently enough for it to be special. If he bought me flowers all the time I wouldn't appreciate them enough.
He is a firefighter for the forest service. Last month he was on a fire for 2 weeks straight and he had this huge bouquet of my favorite lilies sent to the house.... I cried.

No, I told him if he ever had an urge to buy me flowers to just hand me the cash instead.

Such a waste of money, IMO.

My man doesn't surprise me with any thing. So if you have one that does hold on to him.
