What are Madison's disagreements with Patrick Henry regarding the general welfare of America and the laws concerning the number of states' votes needed to make alterations to the Constitution?

It mostly concerned slaves and slave owner rights. The Southern states wanted the law changed making it OK to still import slaves into the United States, while the Northern states did not want any slaves at all. The Northern states and Madison wanted to change the Constitution with only a 60% (I think) percent of the vote instead of a 75% of the vote wanted by the Southern states. This also included other things like trade and trading with the British as Patrick Henry and the Southern States did not want the War of 1812 at first while Madison thought it was forced on them. There are many other things, but mainly those are the high points. Madison won of course, but Patrick Henry got his points in.
