Bart belives that mice expose to microwaves will become extra song (mabe he's been reading too much Radioactive Man ) . He decides to perform this experiment by placing 10 mice in a microwave for 1o seconds he compared these 10 mices to anouther 10 mices that had not been exposed . His test consisted of a heavy block of wood that blocked the mouse food.he found that 8 out of 10 microwaved mice were abled to push the block away . 7 out of 10 of the non-microwaved mice were able to do the same .

Identify the:
1.Contrl Group

12.Independent Variable

3.Depepndent Variable

Hypothetically speaking....
1- the control group is the 10 mice who were not put in the microwave....

2- the independant variable is whether the mice were exposed to the inside of a running microwave...

3- the dependant variable is the strength of the mice, or their ability to move the block of wood...

4- statisically, I don't think a 10% difference between the control group and the test group is statistically significant... he may want to try the test again, try a re-design, try using more mice (like 50-100 mice)...

5- Bart could try different strengths of microwave (regular re-heat vs. defrost) or different lengths of time (5 vs 10 seconds) or different quantities of exposures (1 time in the microwave vs 3 times in the microwave)

Bart puts Liza in the microwave and turns it on and then exposes a mouse to the microwave. Big fat Homer came and ate the mouse and Liza died!
Conclusion: Never put your sister in the microwave!
Bart's experiment can be improved by putting YOU in the microwave!

first bart shouldnt put living things in a microvave, 7 out of 10 and 8 out of 10 they r too close to conclude any thing,, he has to do the experiments again this time with some thing else other than living animals. maybe waterring plants with water that was microvaved and tap water and see the difference
