If a male friend approached you and said that he like to wear certain items from a ladies wardrobe, as he says it makes him feel good.

I don't mean in a cross dressing kind of way either, I mean things like stockings/holdups. but wearing them under his normal clothes like trousers, so no one fully sees them.

How would you approach the situation?

would you tell him he's a freak or be supportive and say that as long as he feels good, and not hurting anyone, he's alright?

many people cross dress without your knowledge, its not a sickness and is an individual choice, the person came to you for support and if truly a friend, deserves support ,not ridicule

Hi, at the end of the day he is still the same person and if thats what he wants to do then let him. I suppose if you are a guy then obviously you may feel strange being round him, so at the end of the day pretend he hasnt told you and get on with everyday things. Its obviously he has told you because he trusts you, just agree with him supportivly, if hes happy then you be happy for him, at least hes not doing drugs or something against the law.
I would try to undestand him, like ask him why, how long has he been wearing them for, you should get all the answers your looking for. He maybe gay but doesnt know how to tell anyone but he might think that he can trust you to tell that he is gay.

He must really trust you to let you in on this information. I would go with the guy above and say as long as he's not hurting anyone there's no harm in it. Also, it's not going to crop up in conversation often so hopefully you won't get too embarassed.

The number of men who do this is probably higher than you give credit. I personally can't see anything wrong with it and you should feel good that he trusts you so much to confide in.

if hes a friend, treat him lie one, he wont be the first to secretly wear stockings or hold ups under trousers. be there for him and just respect his wishes

I would not tell him that he is a freak. That would just be cruel and would hurt him. I would suggest to your friend that he see a therapist preferably one that specializes in this area to help he deal with his feelings.

He's not hurting anyone and making himself feel better: totally a positive!

Even if people saw it and it didn't bother him, that's great too :-)

It's a very common fetish. I'm not sure why he shared this info with you, but I would just say it's OK to do that, but please don't share the info because it's not something I need to know!
