isn't that amazing about the girl who escaped after being kiddnapped and then locked away in a cell for 8 and a half years?? she was kidnapped on her way to school when she was only ten. can you imagane what that was like? i think that is just amazing. love to hear your thoughts. thanks

Definitely amazing. What a hard road she has ahead of her. I heard she has a severe case of Stockholm Syndrome - where she identifies with and depends on her captor. Some people who have this keep in touch with the kidnappers when they are in prison, etc. She had to depend on the captor for survival and companionship to survive. I hope she gets plenty of therapy and that people allow her to heal slowly over time and that the media gets out of her face soon.

It is amazing, yes. There are some more cases where children are captured and put in isolation from society, it can be really unnerving to hear about things like this.
