LOL sounds like onanutmission's lament "if you drop your cell phone in a creek, can you fix it?"

If you have insurance on your phone, yeah, you can get a new one. Repaired? Well, there are some people out there that can actually repair a washed cell phone. You really have to go and search and ask around because there is a 1 in 8 chance of you finding someone at some electronics store that can actually salvage your phone.
You just have to go and check. Good luck!

Hahahaha, oh GOD that is bad. A cell phone totally immersed in hot soapy water going at a spin cycle fast enough to make an astronaut vomit....not good. My brother jumped into a swimming pool and forgot his phone was in his pocket once. The phone still works but the backlight is completely gone.
Bury your phone in the backyard and get a new one. And get the accidental protection plan so you're protected against these types of incidents.

It's ruined. I lost a brand new razor 3 weeks ago when dropping it in a hot tub. If you have it insured open it up and dry it out for a few days before bringing it in. Some policies don't cover water damage.
I learned this the hard way

I would let it dry out and see if it works. If it doesn't, I don't think it can be fixed. Depends on how much water got inside the phone...

It can be.
They could take the computer chip out and put it into another cell phone.
