Yes, incredibly sad. He was a much loved icon in Australia.
Now I also cry for his wife Terri, children Bindi 8, son Bob 3 and Steve's dad Bob.
What also sickens me are the critics and the people who cant wait for the video of his death to be released.
It never will be but the lack of respect shown is appalling.

God bless you Steve, you were an amazing person.
Much loved and never forgotten xx

Millions of people feel grieved about S. Irwin's death. He was only in his 40s. He loved adventure. He is alive after death; he will live after death in the heaven over Australia. He will be cared for in a heavenly hospital when he awakens. Light will be used to heal his spirit body; he has trained spirit nurses taking care of him. He loves adventure and will soon find that the adventure he so loved on earth is far outranked by the tremendous advanture ahead of him in the heavens. Don't cry. Thank the Creator for the good that exists and pray to learn more about the matter.

I am really sad. I didn't know Steve personally but he helped a lot of people to be closer to the animals he loved. He was a true Wildlife Warrior and educator and he will never be forgotten.

It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. Your loved one will always be close as a memory and in your heart.

With Heartfelt Sympathy to Terri, Bindi, Bob and the rest of his family and his friends

May the Croc Hunter Rest In Peace

He was a wonderful person and I also cried when I herd the news. There will never be another to take his place. Anyone that loved animals like he did has a special place in heaven.

yes...i cant tell you the sense of loss that is being felt here in Australia...

most people just cant come to grips with the fact that he is actually gone...Steve was invincible....

I had the pleasure of meeting Steve with my daughter at a friends house (they share a property boarder with Australia Zoo). I had always been a fan given that we share a love of Australia and its animals and he was just so passionate about it all. Once he got talking it was just like on television, but only better...I got to ask questions as he went along....

I cant believe that he is gone and it will take me a while to come to believe it. I have dived Batt Reef, swum with countless stingrays...Steve you were so, so unlucky.... I will miss you with all my heart...

I feel bad for the family he left behind, Iknow that they will be well off, but the grieving of Steve will take a lot of time to get over.

It is really WAY PAST time to stop asking this same question over and over and over and over and over and over and over again! Peace to is family, but the book is closed and it's time to move on! Many of you are literally obsessed and I really think you need a hobby or something else to do besides incessantly and persistently ask about Steve Irwin. There is nothing else left to be said. Enough!

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

Dont worry i cried a lot too. A lot of my friends were just shocked but i cried. I love animals and he love them too. He was like my hero. I'll always miss him and i hope his family realize that he died doing wat he loved. Its A LOT harder on terri and her kids than it is on anyone else. So dont worry about it and express your feelings. Steve was a GREAT guy. I luv you Steve Irwin and rest in peace!

I feel bad about his death. He was a good man, who spent loads of time doing the things he liked best.

I'm happy to know he had a full life and enjoyed himself. Sad to see him go.
