Is the money worth you being away from your family? My boyfriend is considering taking a job that would require him to be away from home 20 consecutive days, and then home for 10. Is it worth the good money?

well..I was like you..and one day ..this lady was about 68 years old and I told her that my husband may have to leave the country to go to work ..beause his company was considering the move..and i told her I didnt want him to go..and she said... I know you are young and right now you have your child..and you need your husband ,,but young lady you need to GROW UP..she said ,because you know times are getting hard and they are going to get worse..and you husband is trying with all his might to make a good living for you and his child..and you need not be soo selfish and consider the fact of why he is doing it..and you need ot take care of him..and be supportive instead of hindering him..she said.. I was just like you and I had a mother just like me..now..to tell you this same thing..I am glad that my mother spoke to me and told me all that I am telling you..because if it wasnt for him I wouldnot be sitting here talking to you and enjoying life..I would be out there with all the other elderly working and paying my bills trying to make ends meet...but because he went overseas I can appreciate the life i have now .no worries no money problems because i have so much money I couldnt ever spend it in onelife time but i owe it all to him..he died last year of cancer of 70 years old ...we so both battled to get him better but he knew he could die and die peacefully because i was taken care of... So she told me LET HIM GO .. and you keep the homefront warm for him when he gets back..Soooo my husband is in saudi Arabia 8 on..and 4 off..working and he calls and he tell me what I need to pay and he talks to my girls ..and I keep him inform of all I do...as though he was down the street......its your choice the money is great...

In the overall scheme of things, 20 days away is insignificant. Is this a one-time occurrence, or is it 20 on and 10 off, for an indefinite period of time? That might make a difference, but it's not clear in the way you've phrased the question.

Im married with 4 children at home, my wife is home. I work full time and I hate every minute being away from my family. I decided to do something about it.

I have been doing this for 1 month now and im pretty close to replacing my monthly income. Being on the road to financial freedom is something you cannot put into words. Knowing that oneday soon I will be able to tell my boss off and work from home 100% will be the day Im looking forward too.

It won't be the money if I was your bf. Being far away from a girl like you would make me miserable.
