definitely they had a sold-out joe louis arena of almost 20,000 people they have a pretty strong fan base now n it gives basketball lovers something to do while waiting for the NBA season to start...GOOOOOO SHOCK WNBA CHAMPS

i hope so cuz by then i will be done w/college! and i hope to play basketball in college! i graduate high school in 2010 and so by 2015 i will be graduating college and it would be great if i got drafted by the wnba! dream come true!

I think it's going to become more popular. Future generations will respect the team better than the ball scratching generation we have now.

Yes, because it has the NBA backing it and even if it doesn't bring in money, it would be horrible PR to take the league away.
