Toronto Maple Leafs for as long as I can remember. In the good old six team league Montreal was our arch nemisis. But now with all the expansion teams there are a couple of other teams that are not exactually loved by Leaf fans. Some of these other teams would include Ottawa Senators, Flyers from Philly, Wings from Detroit and Boston Bruins. Too bad your a Habs fan cause you seem like a nice fella. Ha! Good luck this season.

My favorite team is the Bruins so it would be the Montreal Canadiens. And shootouts...even though they aren't a team they were or worst enemy last season haha.

Right now. It's the Carolina Hurricanes for me for what they've done to Saku Koivu in the playoffs. The outcome of the series might have been different had he not been injured.
ALso Boston, Buffalo, Ottawa and Toronto since they're in the NW division.

Definately, one old rival that needs to be restored is the Maple Leafs/Red Wings. Move Detroit to the Eastern Conference! One game every two seasons between these two teams is ridiculous.
Of course: Maple Leaf/Canadiens
Also:
Canadiens/Bruins
Oilers/Flames
Flyers/Penguins
and
Canucks/Kings

Loved The Avalanche back in the day of Roy, Forsberg, Foote, Ricci, Sakic(Wow what a team!), so I guess by default I hate the Red Wings (Some of the funnest rivalry games to watch ever!)

MY FAVE TEAM HAS TOO MANY RIVALS TO NAME IN THE WEST: DETROIT. IF I CAN PICK ANY OF THE RIVALS IT WOULD BE EITHER ST LOUIS OR COLORADO. ST LOUIS ALWAYS PLAYS DETROIT HARD BUT IT SEEMS LIKE DETROIT HAS THEIR NUMBER AND IT FRUSTRATES THE FANS OF THIS TEAM. i think THE RIVALRY BETWEEN DETROIT AND COLORADO HAS COOLED DOWN A LOT. I FIND YOUR QUESTION INTERESTING AND YOUR DETAILS QUITE FUNNY. I LOVE THE CANADIENS ALOT AND THEY ARE A GREAT TEAM TO WATCH. THEIR RIVALRIES ARE MORE INTERESTING TO WATCH THAN ANY IN THE WEST. NOW THAT SAKU KOIVU WAS HURT BAD BY A PLAYER FROM THE 'CANES I EXPECT A GREAT RIVALRY BETWEEN MONTREAL AND CAROLINA. I THINK RIVALRIES MAKE THE NHL INTERESTING TO WATCH.

i could write a book about how much i hate the Leafs but i wont. I'm just sick of hearing the Leafs fans saying we have the best team, oh, we could win the cup, we have the best defense. enough is enough, give it up they sucked for years and i laugh at my friends that cheer for the Leafs. eh i know that teams have there ups and downs and my Habs went threw the "DARK AGES" but hey they are starting to look better and are getting better results from it. Leafs are oh we beat the Sens in the playoffs 4 years in a row we are the best, well Leaf fans you ain't the best and never where the best Montreal Canadiens owns the Toronto Maple Leafs since day one when the Leafs joined the NHL and trust me Montreal is Hockey and we the Habs Fans are the best dam fans there is in all professional sports.
GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!

The Detroit Red Wings. They always seemed to get the better of my team, the Blues, in the regular season and the playoffs.
