How do you feel about adoption? Should other people adopt? How/when should an adoptive family tell the child that he or she is adopted?

I've known since I was old enough to understand it. I am very grateful that my biological parents gave me up for adoption. They were too young (16 and 17) and they did the most loving thing. I have no ill will whatsoever. I am very luckiy that I was given to two wonderful, loving people. I am blessed and would never look down on anyone for making that choice. Whether or not to adopt is a very personal choice and is not right for everyone. But it is a loving gift because there are a lot of couples who would make great parents, but are unable to have kids, just as there are a lot of people becoming parents who really should not be...

My brother and I have known that we were adopted as long as we can remember. Our adoptive parents used to tell us bedtime stories about a boy and a girl who were adopted. I feel that the sooner the child knows the better off.

How do I feel about adoption? Well after meeting with my biological mother, I know that she definately did what was in my best interest.

I was adopted from newborn and I would recommend anyone to adopt or put your child up for adoption if you cant raise it.I'm thinkful everyday that I was adopted.If I wasnt my bio mom would have let me die.and I think you should tell your adopted child while he or she is still little but old enough to under stand what that ment.My parents told me when I was about 3 1/2 or 4

I've known since I was was 3 months old..it was always open & I just accepted it & feel I am the Lucky one!
on the other hand..my brother felt the opsite then
