The answer to this question is not a straightforward ‘yes’ or ‘no’
God urges those truly interested in survival to seek righteousness and to call on him in faith. (Zeph. 2:2, 3; Joel 2:32) That obviously means that a person must do all in his power to do God’s will. And what is that will as regards baptism?
Jesus was baptized in water, setting an example for Christians. (Matt. 3:13-17; 1 Pet. 2:21) Among his final instructions to his disciples is the command to “make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them.” (Matt. 28:19, 20) And one has but to read the book of Acts to see that early Christians recognized that baptism was a necessary step of obedience for all desiring God’s favor.—Acts 2:37-41; 16:30-33.
There appears to be no Biblical reason for thinking that a person who had a reasonable knowledge of Bible truth and knew the importance of dedicating his life to God and being baptized, but who held back from doing so, would be preserved by God through the coming destruction.
*** However – of particular relevance to your question – getting baptized is not a snap decision and it takes time for someone to progress to the point where they can make that dedication. If a person is doing what they can in their circumstances – and they may be limited or restricted as to what they can do and the amount of access that they have to the truth, and may not have had the chance before Armageddon to get to that point – then god understands because he can read peoples hearts and would not needlessly destroy that person just because they had not reached the point of being able to dedicate themselves to him and get baptized ***
Hope this helps.

John 3: 16 says that whoever believes will be saved. Read all of John 3. Think of the man on the cross next to Jesus, Jesus said that he would see him in heaven and he was probably some horrible criminal, not likely to have been baptized. It is important to get baptised, and a beleiver should want to be baptized, but if someone has faith and dies they will go to heaven. On the other hand not beleiving in Jesus is the real problem.
Also the great tribulation found in the Left Behind Series is not correct. The end of the eath will come in the blink of an eye.

OK not being a great theology major here is the way I read the Bible, remember I am human and as fallible as any man/woman.
Baptism is not needed for salvation, it is a sign to the world that you have been saved. When you are baptized it is a sign saying you are dead to old and reborn to a new life.
As far as the Tribulation period goes, God's chosen (the Jews) many of them will finally have their eyes opened to the fact Jesus was the Messiah spoken of in prophecy and they will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. As far as other people, I would assume if the Jews already have knowledge of Christ yet can be saved then so will other people.
Once again I remind you I am not a theology major and this is just the way that I read the Bible.

During the tribulation will be too late. You must ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior and for forgiveness first. Baptisim is not a must but just a visual of what you have experienced emotionally and spiritually. I pray you accept Jesus soon and grow in your walk and as a witness. Don't wait because tribulation or death can happen at any time. Best wishes!

The idea of Baptism is a religious one.
Not being baptised wont stop you getting to heaven.
If you believe in Christian ethics then according to Jesus "The only way to the Father is through me!"
Therefore you must become Born again through Jesus Christ.
baptism does not give you that.
That said I don't accept all that Ultimate forgiveness when you "come to the Lord" tosh.

First, just so you know, it's spelled: "baptized".
OK, now to answer your question. The only way to get to heaven is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. If you reject Him, you will go to hell forever. Baptism is something Jesus told us to do after we "get saved" (accept Him). If you are a Christian and you die before you are baptized, you will still go to heaven. I believe that baptism is not absolutely essential to get to heaven; Jesus told us to do it to show the world that we have put our trust in Him. If we are afraid to be baptized, then there are some issues in our spiritual life that we need to address.
Baptism is not as important as getting saved. If you were baptized when you were a kid, or anytime before you got saved, it is meaningless and you should do it again. Please email me if you have more questions: jeremymmeller@yahoo.com

"847 This affirmation is not aimed at those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church:
Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation.
848 "Although in ways known to himself God can lead those who, through no fault of their own, are ignorant of the Gospel, to that faith without which it is impossible to please him, the Church still has the obligation and also the sacred right to evangelize all men.""

You don't need to be baptised and you don't need to be saved. If there is a god, he will love you anyway.
