I'm thinking about getting another tattoo.?

Question

I have a leprechaun stealing a pot of gold on my right shoulderblade, and I'm thinking about getting on on my right ankle. I am thinking I want either something musical whether it's a treble or bass clef, a music note, or an album cover, or a sun or orb with wings on either side. I want some opinions on what I should get. It could be anything. I also thought about getting a devil or devil horns or something relating to the southern states because in a past life I think I was from the south. I would like some ideas on what I should get. I'm not gonna get one tomorrow, but maybe in a few months or a few years. I just want some ideas now of what I should get.

I might get it in December on my 21st birthday, but I might wait a few years, plus I want to be a teacher so I'd need something to hide easily

Buffy's right - I always tell people look at a picture and if it engages you and has a lot of meaning remember it. Wait at least three months and look at it again. Do you still feel really connected? Does it still have great meaning?

You will have this for your whole life, and want to still smile when you see it at 80! Also consider putting it near bone - these are areas that hurt a little more but the skin doesn't slouch so much as you age (that's why I put my phoenix on my right front shoulder - all that will stretch are the tail feathers LOL)

Just make sure it is something that you wont think about 6 years later and go why did I get that...I have one of those but I was drunk and in the navy when I got it...LOL..I have 4 and the one that hurt the most was on the inside of my tigh and that is the one I regret the other's I love

How about a music note? Harp? Outline of one of the southern states like Alabama, Georgia?

-or- butterfly, tinkerbell (disney).

u should think about size and wether or not it will look good later on in life small things like the music note is the best way to go so later on in life it doesn't look like a blob....

dude, you should get a skull. tht will be soo awesome!! well, here are somethat i think you shuold get:

- skull

- butterfly

- dragon

- chinese symbol or something (yeh i think those look awesome.)

- a totally rad design around your ankle or where ever you want it (like.. a design tht is wrapped around you ankle. sort of like a bracelet except its a tatoo!!)

- a star

- a flower

- a rose

i also have 4 tatts and want another one.......for the last tattoo that i got in June i went on the internet and found the picture i wanted (dolphins) but once i got in the tattoo shop and looked in their zillions of books i saw another dolphin tatt i wanted. so either look at pics on the web or go into the tatt place and look in their photo books. trust me u will find something u like....also i got my last tatt on my foot and it HURT real bad.......but that didnt scare me enuff to stop........lol

don't do something cutesy. remember, you'll likely have it when you're 45.

wait for something that's very personal and means something to you. when you see it (whatever IT is), you'll say "THAT'S what i want for my next tattoo," and then you'll know.
