No and no-one will. From Australia, the video will not be released.
What is with everyone being so cruel, who would want to see that?

You show no respect.

Please think of Steve's wife and children at this time.

no and i doubt it will be released to the public soon or ever,,,his manager said it was awful to watch because it shows his death so vividly....i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

For the last time, They AREN"T going to show it. The family is going to destroy it. That is the last thing that Bindi and Bob need to see. Have some compassion for the people who Knew and Loved him. Jerks

it will never be released....John Staition, the producer and Steve's best friend who actually owns the film has said on Australian televiions last night that he will never, never release the footage of Steve's moment of death to the public

and rightly so!

as much as my curious and somewhat sick mind want to see this (I have degrees in psychology, forensic science and criminology - dead bodies and death fascinate me) i do not want to see that footage. i want to remember Steve as the day that I met him at a friends house (they share a property boarder with Australia Zoo). i will never forget that day...my daughter just loved him. she was only 9 months at the time, but she laughed the minute he talked to her...grinning from ear to ear.

we will miss you Steve...I hope that the world never, ever sees that footage...we have more than enough footage to remember you by, being passionate, gregarious and wild about what you love, animals...

only the film crew and the police have watched it, as far as i know. i know it shows him getting impaled with the tail, and you can see Steve pull it out of his chest, then he passes away.

i have heard that it will be destroyed after the police are done with it. i just hope no one copies it before then.

i hope none of the crew members made a copy for themselves to sell on ebay!

He was swimming too close to sting rays. His camera man startled the ray, causing it to arm it's venomous barb which pierced his heart killing him almost instantly. One copy of the tape is in police custody. Try you tube. It probably will show up there.

Why would you want to see someone die ?
His family have asked for the tape to be destroyed when the coroner has finished with it.
