Beep back at it. Might not stop it beeping but will stop you going mad.

What is beeping? Maybe it is the smoke detector, they beep when the battery gets low so you will know to replace it.

Is the button stuck in so that it's permanently on test? Or is there a heat source like a candle nearby? I was watching the Exorcist with my friend once. We switched off all the lights, lit loads of candles and watched it. When it got to the crucifix bit the smoke alarm started going off! Suffice to say we absolutely dropped a brick!!

what is it thats beeping???if its the alarm clock to wake u up for work ,throw it through the window...if its your smoke alarm, then get a new battery for it and pronto..
