One time I found a pair of Seven For All Mankind jeans at the Goodwill for $4. They were in perfect condition and they retail for almost $200!

Jeans - supposedly laundered - with a large amount of cash in them. Impossible to return as anyone could have donated them and had they asked the thrift store would have searched the clothes - or that is what they told me. So I kept the money and I paid for the laundry to clean the jeans. They are not my lucky jeans though.

My husband and I stopped by Goodwill one day out of the blue. I'd never been in there. The place smells funky...but they had a cool floor lamp, so we bought it. As we went out to the parking lot, we realized we had gone out in a Corvette...and a hardtop at that, no removable or convertible top...
We took out the "trunk cover" in the back, my husband hopped in the "trunk" area, we laid the lamp diagonally from front to back , closed the coupe, and I drove home.
So I guess the best thing I got was not the lamp - which was really a piece of sh*t, but rather the opportunity to stuff my husband in the trunk of a sports car...

I was with my 10 year old daughter at the time(she is now 14),and she wanted a pair of these ornaments,they were only 2 dollars,so l said she could have them.About a year later we found out they were actually worth about 600 dollars.My daughter still has them.
