wat should you do if a person is spreading a rumor about you and the rumor is not true.?

Ignore it. If you go around saying it's not true then people will in fact think it is true.

Ignore it and watch how quickly people dismiss it. Rumors are generally spread when people think it is getting some response from the rumored.

Just leave it alone. If it is not true, then you don't have anything to worry about right? That's what I would do.
