I used to be a compaq technician and I believe this model uses a regular powersupply (ATX 250Watt powersupply) that can be obtained in any computer store. I would not recommend replacing the fan itself as it will void your warranty (provided it is still valid).

Those fans were prone to failures due to heat and debris(dust). A new powersupply with a ball bearing fan will last as long as your computer.

The fan inside the power supply went out? Any fan of the right size would fit inside it, but you'll have to open up the power supply yourself in order to swap out the fans and then you run the risk of messing up stuff inside the PS. Fan sizes are generally in millimeters, 120mm, 92mm, and 80mm. I don't know if a PS fan is thinner than other fans as far as depth, but if not, any fan of the right size is compatible. Note: I personally wouldn't suggest opening up your power supply. Look at the specs on the back of the power supply and buy a new one with the same wattage, etc.
