Many people swear by Urine-off, but I don't think there is any need or point in spending a lot of money. One possibility is to go to your vet or local pet store and ask them about products. Most likely they will tell you to avoid any product with ammonia, but to use an enzyme product.

Your own pet store and maybe even your vet probably have products. Read the ingredients on those products and if the products are too expensive for you see if you can find a similar product at a store that will be cheaper such as Walmart. Most likely you will have most of the ingredients at your house anyway - vinegar, baking soda, dish detergent, hydrogen peroxide.

Before buying anything you might want to try a combination of half white vinegar or lemon juice, half water, and some good dish liquid in a spray container and scrub the stains.

Some of the problem is probably that the urine has soaked into the carpet and through to the padding underneath. Make sure you know exactly where the spots of urine are. If it seems to have soaked through to the padding, which it probably has, you have a big job on your hands, as the padding needs to be thoroughly cleaned too, and probably even the floor underneath it.

When my kids were little they spilled Kool Aid on a new carpet. We couldn't get the stain out so we cut out the piece of carpet and fitted a new piece in - we had pieces of carpet left over - is that a possibility?

Here is a link with an inexpensive solution that will work if it is just the carpet that is the problem. Best of luck with finding a solution.

Most of these products stop the urine smell by neutralizing the materials affected with enzymes. It may take a couple of treatments. There is a carpet sprinkle that you can find in the pet deptartment of large stores like Wal-mart that you can sprinkle before you vacuum it works well to give the carpet a nice fresh smell. Use it after you use the other product.

I think you should do a web search first to see if you can find out something about the product. Just search the web for Urine-Off and see what you can find out. Sounds to me that you can get enough feedback that way that you should decide if you want to buy it or not. Good luck!

Never heard of it. Have you tried to Google the product to see if there is a website that you can look at and possibly order from?
