I went to the batting cages stretched out my arms, but crap, not my hip area. Now my right hip hurts everytime I use it. It feels like I strained it. If so, how can I "make it better" not the pain but to "fix it".

I'd definetly recomend stretching before hitting the batting cages again. Your body probably just isn't used to being strained in that way. Try icing it.

Your muscle is out of shape. Take some motrin to reduce the swelling and wait a few days. It will feel better then. Next time go slowly, and don't take as many swings when you first start.

First, I'd go to the doctor. My opinion is that maybe you overstretched your back muscles. Maybe you pinched the cyatic nerve. (I dont know the proper spelling)
