i watched this film years ago here is what i remember vaguely, a group of people in a desert (i think) some guy tracking them down one by one and killing them. here are some of the deaths i remember, burying a guy up to his neck then putting a grenade next to his head. tying a guy to the back of a car while he is wrapped round a tree then driving off, i think at the end a girl kills him with a bow and arrow, its a gruesome film,

Sounds very much like "2,000 Maniacs," an early film from the guy who pretty much pioneered the gore/slasher genre, Herschel Gordon Lewis.

I think that it might be a film called Dust Devil. It was released in 1990 and is a combination of serial killer/evil spirit road-movie and western.

I like horror movies but that sounds very disturbing! Like a movie I saw 'bout 2 months ago called "wolfe creek".... ugh!

Do you remember who acted in the movie? Or when it came out?
