its channel 17 where i live and suddenly it just turned black. and its been that way since yesterday. it happened to FX last night as well but only for a couple minuets

All my channels work. I saw this question, so I flipped on the TV checked the channels. I have 120 channels, and they all work fine.

Probably a crappy cable company. You should get a dish. Much better than cable, and much cheaper! :)
