Just try not to be around him. Hopefully you and your friend will have time with each other without him. If you do have to hang around with him, just try to make the best of it. From my own experience, boyfriends come and go. If you mess things up with your best friend over this guy and then they break up, you lost your friend for nothing. Just wait it out and I bet there will be more boyfriends down the road who are more likable.

I would suggest that you tell your friend that you dont think he is good for her but you respect her right to decide who she dates. Also avoid going on any functions with the two of them this way you can avoid a confrentation with the boyfriend. Its better to be honest with your friend than to lie and pretend to not care.

You are not friends with her boyfriend and you don't need to be. Please, please, please don't let this get in the way of your friendship. I have been there, and it is not worth loosing a friend over.
