T-Moblie Side-Kick is prepaid...? Or not..? Can it be used on any to-go phone?

I'm trying to find a phone thats prepaid (I dont have any credit), and that will Instant message or Text message for free or a daily fee that makes it unlimited. I heard about the T-moblie Side Kick.. Is that the only way you can get that? Or can you get that with the Pre-paid to go phones...?

Sorry if I dont make sense, I'm so confused!!

The sidekick 3 is available as a To Go (prepaid) phone from TMobile for 399.99. The service plan on it takes a dollar a day out of your balance and that dollar gets you unlimited internet, email and texting. So it's basically 30 bucks a month. Aside from that your calls are 15 cents a minute I believe
