I like the sound of Tiffany better. But, meanings of names can be fun. Tiffany means Three or The Trinity. Valerie means strength. Based on the meanings, I like Valerie better.

I would prefer Tiffany myself. Valerie is quite "old fashioned". It reminds me of aunts.

I think that Valerie is better than Tiffany. I agree that Tiffany sounds too 80's-ish!!!! And if you do decide to pick Tiffany, don't spell it different to be "unique," because people will ALWAYS spell her name incorrectly!!! It will drive her crazy! GOOD LUCK!!!! :o)
