I am trying to build a computer. Still trying to chose between an AMD Athlon X2 5000 and an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600. The AMD runs at 2.6 Ghz with a 2000 Mhz FSB and only costs $325. The Intel runs at 2.4 Ghz with a 1066 Mhz FSB and costs $350. Which one is a better choice? I heard that the Intel takes less energy. Is that the only benefit? I don't need less power, I need more speed? Which one has more speed and reliability?

I remember I read a banchmark that said that Intel Core Duo beat Athlon in several aspects. I wish I could give you more info but I lost the website.
