Given enough time, who knows? There are other animals who could evolve into sentient creatures.

Evolution is a process that is supposed to operate without a particular goal in mind. Time is the only real measuring factor, so one might say that all species existing right now are just as evolved as any other. The "evolved" are those who survive. If humans became extinct, it's possible that another creature might arise with similar cognitive capabilities, if selective pressures pushed it in that direction.

A higher form of species is unlikely to replace humans, but the Robot definitely will.

It's hard to say. Just think about the millions of years the dinosaurs were around, and no intelligent species formed during that time.

I'd say it's virtually certain. The sun should be good for another four billion years or so, and that's plenty of time for other species to get as far as we are now -- ideally, without offing themselves in the process, as we sometimes seem likely to do.

If we become extinct that means Jesus has returned. I really don't think aliens will just happen to in space travel and go"oh look an empty planet, lets land"
When we are done here that's all folks

It would be nice if Humans are at the highest level of evolution. we will not have to worry about new species being evolved. :)

Because thank goodness God won't allow that to happen.
He says and we have proven him true.
It is not within man to direct his own steps.
