run the negative thru first then do whatever you can in ()
(-8n+2)=13(1-3n)
run the 13 thru:
-8n+2=13-39n
bring n's to one side non-n's to other (add 39n to both sides and subtract 2 from both sides)
31n=11
divide by 31on both sides:
n=11/31

-(8n-2)=(10+3)(1-3n)
-(8n-2)=(13)(1-3n)
-8n+2=13-39n
39n+-8n+2=13-39n+39n
31n+2=13
31n+2-2=13-2
31n=11
n=11/31
